Singlet (made by me), Black tank (Supre), Bag (Mimco), Necklace (Portebello Road Markets)
I have found every time I get dressed in the morning lately, the same thought runs through my head… “My life would be so much better if I had a pair of leopard print platform boots.”
Once I have gotten over that materialistic moment, my day goes on. (Seriously though, they would just give any plain old outfit such much needed ‘oomph’). I am off on a holiday in April to Vietnam, and as I have heard the shopping is “to die for”, “life-changing”, “amazing”, “holy fucking shit, it’s so fucking good” amongst other positive praise, I am trying really hard to hold off on any self-indulgent purchases. For the record though, my hard drive is now chockas full of photos of all my lemmings.
Today I visited a little cafe hidden in amongst Mount Dandenong called “A Touch of Norway”. As I was an exchange student in Norway as a teenager, the country holds so much sentimental value to me and this was pretty much the closest thing I could get without forking out the $2k for an airfare. It looked like no one had been there for quite sometime, but we got homemade heart shaped waffles, with my favourite jam and cream and coffee.. a nice way to spend the morning. I wore a basic outfit not really worthy of a photo, but I made the top yesterday out of some scrap material and the scenery was just too pretty to ignore.
PS. Don’t forget to enter the $50 voucher giveaway, a couple of posts below this! xo
