LMFF >> day two.

(Myself, Phoebe of Lady Melbourne, Alicia of Sea of Ghosts & Nadia of The Animal Orchestra)

Where there are bloggers, there are photos and last night at LMFF was no exception to the rule. Other notable bloggers who I either failed to capture in front of the lens, or attempted to and failed miserably to get in focus were the lovely Cheryl of Busichic, Jamie of OhJamie and Sarah of Style Melbourne.

I went to the Forever New sidewalk parade, which despite my initial fears for it (after reading the press release mentioning Swan Lake and ballet references) turned out to be a sweet and charming public parade with clothes that I know teenage girls will be loving this winter. I also attended the Kookai parade, but the highlights were obviously the L’Oreal Paris Runways 1 and 2. I went a bit snap-crazy but whittled it down a little.

I’m a little bit in love with Rachel Rutt. Congratulations to the mindblowing Song for the Mute on their incredible collection, a well-deserved win for them. I was also really taken by Ellery, Lui Hon and Arnsdorf (their palette is beautiful). Also noteworthy was the soundtrack for Runway 1; sass & bide + Rage Against the Machine = gold!

Tonight is the Graduate Runway presented by Sportsgirl, which should be really exciting. It is also the SPOOK magazine for Penthouse Mouse Photography Shoot Off (official name is “Junkyard Dogs”, I suppose that is much snappier). It is at Shed 4, Docklands from 6pm and you’re all welcome to come along!

I was lucky to get last minute to Runway! How cute was Rachel’s smile as she walked!

  3. Chanelle says:

I love how smug Rachel looks, like she knows she’s better than the other models…because she totally is.
